We strive to deliver your order as quickly as possible. In most cases, your order will arrive within the same week.
If your order status has shown “Shipped” for more than two business days without delivery, please contact our customer service. We’re happy to assist you.
For every €1.00 you spend in our webshop, you earn 1 reward point.
These points can be redeemed on future orders.
For every 100 points, you receive a €1.00 discount.
You are not required to use your points on your next order—they can be saved and used at any time.
At Alicanta, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product.
You will receive a full refund of the order amount, including any original shipping costs.
Only the return shipping costs from your home to our warehouse are at your own expense (typically €6.95 via PostNL).
Returns Policy
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to us—together with all delivered accessories and, if reasonably possible, in its original condition and packaging.
The bottle’s seal (cap or cork) must not be broken.
Once we have verified that the product has not been opened and meets our return conditions, we will refund the full order amount within 14 days of receiving your return request.
Please note:
We cannot accept returns of items with damaged packaging and/or products that are incomplete or have been used.
The right of return does not apply to business customers.
Returning items
To return items, please pack them neatly and sufficiently stamp them. Only sufficiently stamped return shipments with items in the intact, original packaging will be accepted by us (unfranked items will automatically be refused). If you return an article to us, you must always include a fully completed return form. Only then can we guarantee correct and smooth handling. Do not forget to mention your shipping address on your shipping box. The products are sent by us in a shipping box, this shipping box is not the original packaging!

The purchase amount of returned items will be refunded within 14 days.
We truly appreciate it if you let us know directly when you have a complaint.
Please contact us first so we can resolve the issue together.
If your complaint cannot be resolved directly with us, you have the option to submit your dispute for mediation through the European Commission’s ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) platform.

If your complaint is not yet being handled elsewhere, you are free to file it through the EU platform at any time.
However, we kindly ask that you always try to resolve the matter with our customer service first.
The term “Extra Virgen” (also known as Extra Virgin or Extra Vierge) refers to the method used to produce the olive oil.
Originally, only cold-pressed oils could carry the “Extra Virgin” label. However, since most modern mills now use centrifugal extraction instead of pressing, the official requirement has been updated:
As long as the oil is extracted mechanically at low temperatures and without the use of chemicals, it may be labeled “Extra Virgin.”
In short:
What matters is that the extraction process is mechanical, gentle, and chemical-free.
A Quick Overview of the Three Main Olive Oil Grades:
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This is the highest quality olive oil. It has a very low acidity, a perfect aroma, a pure taste, and a rich color.
Ideal for cold use, such as in salads or herb-infused dishes.
Virgin Olive Oil
This is a slightly lower grade than extra virgin, due to its higher acidity. However, the aroma, taste, and color must still meet high standards.
It is more affordable and well-suited for cooking, stir-frying, and sautéing at temperatures up to ±180˚C.
Refined Olive Oil
This is the lowest quality of olive oil—less expensive but also noticeably inferior in flavor and nutrition.
Despite that, it is very suitable for frying, roasting, and deep-frying, and can handle high heat above 180˚C.

Return Form
If you wish to return an order, or part of an order, you must notify us via email. You can also provide your return with a fully completed return form (without pre-notification).
