We call it mountain honey because it is the honey collected from the pollen of all kinds of wild flowers in the high mountains, far above sea level, where grasses and shrubs coexist.
The flowering time of these flowers is in spring. The color of the honey is dark amber with some reddish tones. With a floral aroma with fruity accents, this is a honey with a sweet taste, although it can have a salty or sour tone if it contains heather.
This honey has very slow crystallization.
