Alicanta Extra Virgen olive oil is unique in taste and quality. The olive oil is produced from olives from Alicanta’s olive groves. Our own orchards are located in a privileged setting along the mountain of Gaianes. This authentic Spanish town breathes olive oil!
Every year we pick our olives during the months of November and December. The olives go directly to the almazara (oil press) for further processing. The time between picking and pressing should be as short as possible to ensure the highest quality. We therefore choose to “cold press” the olives in small quantities immediately after picking. This is evidenced by the low acidity our outstanding olive oil receives in the rating.
The color of the olive oil is golden yellow. The olive oil has a slightly bitter aftertaste indicating an olive oil of perfect quality, rich in vitamins A, E and D, and the highest concentration of polyphenols and antioxidants.
Alicanta Extra Virgen olive oil can be used for salads, with bread, to enhance herbs, to complement vegetables and (low heat) for roasting and baking.
The olive oil comes in a handy and economical 0.5-liter plastic bottle.
In addition to a single bottle of Alicanta Extra Virgen olive oil, we also offer tree adoption. Adoption offers nice benefits and even makes you part of the olive oil production.
