Some of our trees are over 100 years old. These groves are lovingly cared for every day—using traditional methods passed down through generations.
That dedication results in exceptionally flavorful olive oil of the highest quality, cherished by connoisseurs and food lovers alike.

Alicanta is an independently operating olive oil estate, fully responsible for every step of the process—from hand-picking the olives to pressing and bottling the oil.

Adopt an Alicanta Olive Tree

As the olive oil market becomes increasingly commercialized, small producers like Alicanta face growing challenges in delivering pure, high-quality olive oil to consumers outside Spain.
Large, profit-driven competitors dominate the market—often with little regard for the farmer’s passion or the authenticity of the product.
Sadly, the cost of producing genuine olive oil is high, and the bottles found in Dutch supermarkets barely resemble the rich, cold-pressed oil we produce here in Spain.

Application Form for Olive Tree Adoption

    We would very much like to share with you our enthusiasm for olive trees, cultivation and olive oil.

    Therefore, the plan of the bodega Alicanta to make possible an adoption of an olive tree. In this way, everyone can contribute to the survival of authentic olive oil production.

    But this tasty adoption package also offers many benefits for you as an adopter:

    • The olive tree adoption package includes 3 liters of Alicanta extra virgin olive oil from the Alicanta adoption orchard.
      These 3 liters are distributed per season as follows: 4 x 250 ml and 2 x 500 ml and 1 x 1000 ml.

    • The adopter will receive a certificate of adoption by name, with the specific coordinates of the tree.
      With the coordinates, your tree can be viewed via Google maps.

    • For each adoption, we place a beautiful nameplate at the adopted olive tree. You will receive a nice photo of this.
      There is also the possibility of visiting the olive grove as well as your personal tree by appointment.


    Frequently Asked Questions

    The olive oil from your adopted tree will be shipped in March following the current harvest season.
    If you adopt a tree between April and February, your olive oil will be delivered in March, along with all other adopters.

    All adopters receive an invoice in November of the ongoing season.
    If you adopt your tree after November, you’ll receive an invoice immediately, and your olive oil will still be delivered in March.

    We’ll keep you informed via email about the status of your application.
    Once approved, you’ll receive an official adoption certificate with your details and those of your adopted tree.
    We’ll also update you throughout the season on what’s happening in the olive grove.

    Your adoption is valid for the current season—from the moment your application is approved until the olive oil is delivered.
    Each year, the adoption is automatically renewed for the next harvest season, ensuring that you keep the same tree.
    You are always free to change or cancel your adoption at any time.

    You are welcome to adopt as many olive trees as you’d like.
    Simply submit a separate application for each one.
    You can adopt a tree for yourself or gift one to someone else—and yes, each tree can be given its own name.
